BioWell™ Bconazine Cream

General Information

BioWell™ Bconazine Cream is a topical medication that combines two active ingredients: econazole nitrate (an antifungal agent) and triamcinolone acetonide (a corticosteroid). It is used to treat fungal skin infections, such as athlete’s foot, ringworm, and jock itch, while also reducing inflammation, itching, and swelling. The BioWell™ Bconazine Cream component targets the fungal cells by disrupting their cell membranes, while the triamcinolone relieves inflammation and irritation associated with the infection. BioWell™ Bconazine Cream is typically applied directly to the affected area as prescribed by a healthcare provider.

Econazole Nitrate (1.0%w/w), Triamcinolone Acetonide (0.1%w/w)

How to apply

• Topical application to the skin. Should be applied to the affected area no more than 2 times daily, preferably once in the morning and once in the evening. Should not be applied with an occlusive dressing, or to large skin areas of the body.
• The duration of treatment should be until the inflammatory symptoms subside but no longer than 2 weeks; after 2 weeks of therapy, continue therapy as needed with a preparation containing econazole or econazole nitrate alone.

Precaution

For external use only. Avoid in contact with eyes, nose and mouth. Not to be taken. Avoid prolonged application to the face. Avoid occlusive dressing to large areas of the body because of the increased risk of systemic absorption. If symptoms persist, please consult a doctor.
